Design For Manufacturing Seminar No. 162 in Technocrats Institute of Technology Bhopal By DAuto

BHOPAL: 24-09-2016:  The seminar hall was occupied by hundreds of students and industry experts were delivering the knowledge of “Design-for-Manufacturing” along with prototypes, real components and the latest technology. The Technocrats Institute of Technology (TIT-Main) Bhopal was the venue and industry was of DAuto. Students acquired information and guidelines for achieving the career opportunities in various industries, sectors and the companies.

 

Design for Manufacturing pioneered by DAuto, has been used by many companies, industries, OEMs around the world to develop creative product designs that use optimal manufacturing processes based on the design.

 

The event also was accompanied by Mr. C. Shrivastava (Asst. Professor ME), Ms. Pooja Malviya (Asst. Professor ME), and the faculty members.

 

Correctly applied Design after analysis leads to significant reductions in production cost, without compromising product time-to-market goals, functionality, quality, serviceability, or other attributes. In this seminar, attendees not only learned the Design-For-Manufacturing concept with process, they actually routed to apply it to their own product design!

 

The Industry Experts of DAuto shared the actual competition in the design industries and guide the students; how they can overcome the trouble for hitting the right career opportunities at the right time.

 

The seminar emphasized how to significantly design the product, based on the principles of industries by simplifying concepts, optimizing product development, minimizing labor content, choosing the standard parts which minimizes material overhead, optimizing supply chain management, eliminating the costs of quality by design, concurrently developing optimal product families and processing, minimizing issues with tolerance stacks, and, in general, designing for every aspect of manufacturability.

 

The seminar has displayed how to use concurrent engineering, product development teams to design in manufacturability from the beginning and how this will dramatically reduce the real time-to-market by ensuring the product works and eliminating late changes to make the design manufacture-able and ramp up to the target volume, productivity, and quality. These manufacturable designs allow growth without encountering the conflicts that occur when unmanufacturable products can only be built by highly skilled people and lots of firefighting.

 

The Design-for-manufacturing topic included designing products for lean production, high-mix/low-volume environments, build-to-order, and mass customization.

 

The seminar concluded with a discussion in which experts answer the questions of attendees. Attendees get recommended to start working on DFM implementation and coming out of the box to think beyond where career opportunities take a flight.

Indore Institute Of Science And Technology Indore And DAuto Seminar No. 161 On Design For Manufacturing

INDORE: 23-09-2016:  (IIST) Indore Institute Of Science And Technology Indore was the venue chosen by the DAuto team to deliver seminar on Design-For-Manufacturing for guiding to the engineering students. The topic was well enough to understand about the seminar’ purpose and temptation of prototypes brought by the DAuto grab the attention of the students. As an industry DAuto showed the real requirements of other sectors, companies and the industries where students can get the career opportunities by running on the correct path.

Shiv Kumar Singh Institute of Technology & Science Indore Sets Seminar No. 160 Of DAuto On Design For Manufacturing

INDORE: 23-09-2016:  It was the event of (SKSITS) Shiv Kumar Singh Institute of Technology & Science Indore and DAuto where all the beneficiaries were the engineering students. Enthusiasm was on peak as DAuto was about to display and share information about Design-For-Manufacturing. The seminar was not about sharing knowledge only, but to guide the path for hitting the career opportunities available in the various industries. Students learned all about product research, design and development. However, it is not possible to adopt entire information of R&D in one day, but a subject was enough to show light to the students via utilizing their respective branch.
